Climate Cups FAQ

Climate Cups FAQ

Climate Cups

How do you assemble the cup?

Step 1: Open the tab

Step 2: Remove the heat sleeve from the bottom of the cup

Step 3: Pull out the body of the cup

Step 4: Replace the heat sleeve

Step 5: Screw off the lid and fill with a delicious drink!

What are the cups made out of?

Climate Cups are made using FDA grade polypropylene plastic and silicone (all safe recyclable materials). The cups are completely free of BPAs, phthalates, glues and lead.

How do I clean the cup?

Separate the cup into three (heat sleeve, lid and cup). Pop it in the dishwasher or wash by hand.

Will the cup leak in transit?

We would not recommend that you put your Climate Cup in your bag while it's filled with a beverage. While liquid may not leak out, there is a chance that the stopper could snag or get caught resulting in liquid pouring out of the top of the cup and we wouldn’t want you to risk this happening! When the cup is collapsed and mostly clear of liquid, however, you can feel comfortable chucking it into your bag as it is unlikely that the cup will leak when closed.

Doesn’t the cup get really hot?

When your Climate Cup is filled with a hot beverage, the plastic lid and sleeve let you hold the cup comfortably, with very minimal heat transfer to your hand. Without the sleeve (on the bare silicone), the heat transfer is similar to using a disposable cup without a sleeve.

How much liquid does the cup hold?

12oz / 355ml
